A regional poultry processing facility needed a tough, all-in-one cleaning solution that handles everything from heavy-duty outdoor wash downs to food-safe sanitising inside the facility.

The Challenge

The client needed a single solution that could handle a wide range of tasks - outdoor wash downs, internal hygiene, drain jetting and sanitising - all while meeting strict food safety standards.

During the site assessment, our Solutions Specialist identified several key challenges:

• Diesel-only operation due to site fuel restrictions (no petrol allowed)
• Cross-contamination risks between indoor and outdoor cleaning tools
• Limited space for vehicle access, requiring forklift manoeuvrability
• Ease of use and for different team members across the facility

The brief was clear: build a powerful, food-safe system that’s easy to operate, engineered for versatility and designed specifically for the realities of their site.

The Solution

 We designed a fully custom SPITWATER trailer system powered by a SW21-200SDE diesel 3000 PSI, 21L/min hot water pressure cleaner - paired with an 800L water tank and dual hose reels for ultimate flexibility.

To manage chemical application and eliminate user error, we fitted a dual-line chemical injector with locked dosing settings and colour-coded lines:

• Yellow – Sanitiser
• Blue – Deodoriser
• Chemical bottles are secured in a designated front compartment with underbody hose protection

We also integrated a dual-compartment toolbox - each with separate keys and fittings - to ensure that internal and external cleaning tools are never mixed.

• One side stores internal-use guns and lances
• The other holds external tools
• Different hose fittings ensure they can't be accidentally swapped
