Tony Scali’s SPITWATER 13-180H arrived on the farm in 2008 as a refurbished machine.
Eighteen years later, it is still on the job. Tony recently took to social media to introduce his SPITWATER.
“And here she is, the most neglected bit of equipment on the farm, the old humble SPITWATER 13-180H.”
18 Years of Farm Work
Tony says the machine has been used daily since arriving. “I couldn’t even begin to think of the hours it’s done.”
Over the years, it has washed sprayers, tractors, trucks, trailers and almost every other piece of farm equipment on the property.
“It has spent years washing every piece of farming equipment we own. Sprayers, tractors, trucks and trailers, the list goes on.”
Mud, grease, dust and farm residue are part of the job. Tony’s SPITWATER has kept handling them year after year.
With Minimal Repairs
After 18 years, the replacement list is short. “The only thing it’s had is a new coil, float, hand piece and hose.”
For a machine used this often, fewer repairs mean less downtime and fewer interruptions to the working day.
Simple Engineering
Tony puts much of the reliability down to a straightforward design.
“It’s simple to work out. Pump, relief valve, water, just like a sprayer. That’s why it’s been so reliable. No complicated electronics, no computers means no worries. Just hit the green button and go.”
He also values the water tank and bypass circulation system, which keeps water moving while the machine sits in standby.
“The water tank circulates the water around when it’s in standby mode, which is important because it keeps the pump running cool.”
There is also one practical bonus.
“It’s perfectly calculated to hold enough water to wash the mud off your boots without having to go to the tap and turn the water on.”
Support after the Sale
After almost two decades, access to parts and advice still matters.
“As for after-sales service, can’t fault that either. Always helpful with advice and parts.”
SPITWATER backs its pressure cleaners with local service, spare parts and technical support, helping customers keep machines working for the long haul.
A refurbished machine. Eighteen years of farm work. Still going. Tony sums it up best.
“18 years with minimal maintenance. 18 years of reliability. That’s why I’d buy another SPITWATER.”
Eighteen Years of Product Improvement
Since Tony acquired his machine, the 13-180H has undergone some upgrades and improvements to make your job easier.
