A Simple Rule 

Always start with water, then add chemical. This helps achieve proper mixing and reduces the chance of excessive foaming during filling. 

Apply, Dwell, Rinse 

Once applied, allow the foam to dwell and do the work before rinsing. Chemical needs time to break down contamination properly. Rushing this stage often leads to using more pressure than necessary.
